The Antibody Amplifier ™ and the Antibody Amplifier Eclipse™ both utilize a common technique used in western blotting and applies it to IHC andIF. During antibody incubation, slides are submerged and rocked in a greatly diluted antibody solution. Antibody dilutions at 1:100,000 are frequently seen using both the the Antibody Amplifier ™ and the Antibody Amplifier Eclipse™. They both consist of 12 separate, watertight compartments, each fitting one standard microscope slide. This layout allows for the testing of 12 separate antibodies concurrently, or the concurrent titration of antibodies in each apparatus. The The Antibody Amplifier ™ is used for standard IHC while the the Antibody Amplifier Eclipse™ is composed of an ultra opaque material for use with fluorescence.
