The Antibody Amplifier™ utilizes a common technique used in western blotting and applies it to IHC. During antibody incubation, slides are submerged and rocked in a greatly diluted antibody solution. Antibody dilutions at 1:100,000 are frequently seen using the Antibody Amplifier™. One Antibody Amplifier™ consists of 12 separate, watertight compartments, each fitting one standard microscope slide. This layout allows for the testing of 12 separate antibodies concurrently, or the concurrent titration of antibodies.
AA1A includes two of the classic Antibody Amplifiers™.
