TMB, 3,3'5,5’- tetramethylbenzidine,  is an insoluble chromogen substrate for horseradish peroxidase detection systems for IHC and other cell based assays. When activated with horseradish peroxidase, it results in an aqua blue color. Neutral Red color can be used as a counterstain.
Features
  • A alternative chromogen substrate when sections are not staining, or staining faintly.

    Suitable for double labeling, can be used in conjunction with brown colored chromogens.

    Activated by horseradish peroxidase.

    Can process 300 slides.
