ProHisto, LLC is a research based company providing powerful, cost effective diagnostic testing products to researchers and experts in the assessment of diseases such as cancer, AIDS and Alzheimer's. ProHisto's patent pending Antibody Amplifier(tm) system is used by scientists at leading academic institutions in the Americas and overseas. The Antibody Amplifier system enables a step change in the sensitivity and reproducibility of critical IHC tests while often reducing expensive reagent and antibody costs. Through its fee based research services business, the Company participates directly in leading edge applications with customers.
Since its founding in 2007, numerous research papers have been published citing use of ProHisto’s Antibody Amplifier systems or consumables across a broad array of antibodies. The principal scientists at ProHisto have over 30 years combined experience practicing immunohistochemistry and have numerous publications in the field. The Company is a minority owned enterprise, privately held and is debt free.
In 2009, ProHisto joined the ranks of companies selected by SCLaunch™, a Division of the South Carolina Research Authority, as a client company. This selection brings many resources and benefits of a well established company to ProHisto. ProHisto, LLC has facilities in Columbia and near Greenville, South Carolina.
